Los sitios subterr\u00e1neos se distinguen de los hallazgos arqueol\u00f3gicos subterr\u00e1neos por su origen subterr\u00e1neo desde su creaci\u00f3n. El edificio que actualmente alberga el <strong>museo es el Palazzo degli Studi<\/strong>, construido en 1585 como \u00abcuartel de caballer\u00eda\u00bb. El palacio representa una cierta importancia arquitect\u00f3nica, siendo de hecho uno de los <strong>palacios monumentales de N\u00e1poles<\/strong> m\u00e1s imponentes.
